Pumpkins, a vegetable native to North America, are now grown all over the world. Amongst other things, pumpkin seeds contain curcurbitine, an amino acid. A patented production process is used to isolate certain amino acids in the pumpkin seeds. These reduce the release of histamine, thus preventing skin from becoming inflamed. In the cosmetics industry, pumpkin seed oil is widely used to nourish dry skin and the wrinkles which form as a result of dry skin. It is also used to prevent the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy. Our interest, however, focuses primarily on curcurbitine, an amino acid found inside the seeds of pumpkins, which we isolate using a patented production process. This amino acid reduces the release of histamine in the skin and hence the resultant inflammation. The skin’s natural moisture content is restored, and dryness and roughness are visibly and palpably reduced. Rashes are immediately offset.
Aloe Vera is extracted from the leaves of the aloe plant. It is rich in polysaccharides, enzymes, essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals and many other active substances. It has an intensive moisturizing effect, as well as softening, soothing and revitalizing skin. Aloe vera improves wound healing and has an anti-inflammatory effect. It protects against sunburn by shielding from UV rays.
